ASTRONOMY COURSES THE WEEK ENDS
Astronomy is Science older than the Humanity practices. For
this reason, in these Astronomical Week Ends, we try to approach
any person to the wonderful world of Astronomy, with special
emphasis in the techniques of astronomical observation.
The classes are presented with slides and Powerpoint (PPT) (with
projection tube) for a perfect understanding of the subjects.
Until the moment these Courses are helded in the following subjects:
Constellations, Evolution Stars, Origin and evolution life in
the Earth, Mars, the great Opposition of the 2003, Cosmology,
Planets, Solar System, Maratones Messier, etc.

In a weekend is possible organize five classes of 1 hour and
two astronomical observation od the moon , deep sky planets,
constellations and objects visible at that time. This observations
would have of 2-3 hours of duration (according weather conditions).
If the observations were not possible, it would replace with
computer science astronomical programs.

The courses, if distributed in 2 days, was essentially basical
and monographical ones, due to the enormous amplitude of subjects
that is possible to treat. We indicated follow examples of
programs, being able to elaborate others on different subjects
(Galaxies, Cosmology, History of Astronomy, Astronomical observation,
Stellar Evolution, Black Holes, Intelligent Life, Solar System,
applied Relativity...)
CONDITIONS
• the maximum number of students by course is 10.
• The classes would distribute with Presentations PPT
(additionaly tube of projection) and projection of slides.
The professor would provide all the necessary materials, computer,
tube, projector, slides, telescopes, etc. The rural house
would facilitate the space where to give the classes and if
possible, an observation place. If it was not possible to
organize in the our rural house with garden or similar, would
indicate another place that it could be used as observing
point.
• The assistants will receive fotos, basic information
on the Course, bibliography, astronomical charts for the observations
and one planisphere mape.
• If there were request of courses at an elevated level,
the corresponding programs would be prepared.
• Courses of "Long Weekend" could also be
distributed (Thursday, Friday Saturday and Sunday), in which
eight classes and three astronomical observations would be
distributed, as well as Courses of duration 1 week, with schedules,
subjects and astronomical observations to discuss.
